Animal Flood Relief - HULU LANGAT, Selangor
On January 1 and 2, 2022, The Stray Animal Foundation Malaysia (SAFM) helped animals and pet keepers in Hulu Langat Selangor.
SFAM carried out this mission in collaboration with the Malaysian Veterinary Department (DVS), Malaysian Veterinary Association (MAVMA), MSAVA, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) KELAB KUCING MALAYSIA, and SPCA Selangor. The association bodies involved volunteered to help provide dog and cat food, and treatment including medicine for the people of Hulu Langat who were affected by the flood last December.
850 animals were treated for free while 350 people have received animal feed aid that includes cat foods and dog foods.
Kudos to the volunteers and people of Hulu Langat. The SAFM fund is still open to assist the affected animals and caregivers. Continue to contribute so that we can help more flood victims by providing food, medicine, and basic items.
